Packaging is important because it:

  • Supports branding. Packaging can support a brand’s image, helping to establish its identity. For example, colorful packaging and creative designs are made to grab a consumer’s attention and differentiate their products on store shelves. The concept of “eye-catching” also applies when it comes to names and descriptions: the more memorable or clever these features are, the better your product will be at attracting customers.

This pattern is particularly prevalent among millennials.

  • Protects the product inside from damage or deterioration during transport or storage by containing it within certain protective materials such as cardboard boxes, plastic bags or bottles and so on.

  • Helps enhance product safety by incorporating safety features like child-resistant caps for medicine bottles and tamper-proof seals for food containers

1. Business Branding

A brand symbolizes your business in the market. To maintain a healthy growth of your business, it is essential to have an effective business branding strategy in place. Effective business branding helps you create an emotional connection with your target audience and stand out from your competitors.

It is necessary to create a consistent brand image for all the promotional activities of your product or service. If you’re selling some kind of product, you can use packaging as an effective platform for promoting your brand and differentiating it from other similar products in the market.

to attract customers toward your product instead of theirs. Why does this happen? There are a few reasons, but the first involves what we already talked about: shelf appeal. If a customer walks into a store and sees your fun, colorful packaging while they see plain brown boxes or boring white paper bags next to it, where do you think their eyes will go?

Second of all, think about branding. Branding means building an identity for yourself so that customers know who you are when they see you on the shelves or online. You want them to recognize your brand and feel comfortable with it because

that puts them at ease when they buy from you. If someone has never heard of your company before but sees that fun colorful package in the store and thinks “Wow! That looks fun!” then suddenly their familiarity with your brand just shot up by quite

a lot! This can really help convince them to purchase from you rather than risk buying from a company whose products look like “generic” items sold in bulk or off-brand alternatives (i.e., knockoffs).

5. Enhances product safety

With consumer safety being of paramount importance in the modern world, your product packaging is responsible for a lot more than just looking good. If you’re selling anything, then your package needs to be functional and protect that product. But consumer safety concerns extend beyond just keeping your goods intact and safe from outside hazards.

  • Many products are especially dangerous if consumed by children, even if they’re entirely harmless in the hands of adults. As such, all potential hazards should be assessed when developing a package design. Does this container need childproofing? Can its contents be used safely by children?

  • In addition to containing potentially dangerous items, your packaging may contain items that are expensive or otherwise valuable. Tamper-evident seals can help customers know where their goods have been before they buy them.

Massachusetts Inventory Temporarily Unavailable

It is times for the big move. We are required to be out of the current facilities by the end of this week (January 29th). Due to this we will need to take some products off the site temporarily as they are going to move between facilities. We wish this was not the case and we apologize for the inconvenience. We’re Moving and It’s Exciting!

Greetings to all our amazing customers. Yes you read that right. We’re actually excited to move. Why? You might ask. First a bit of History.

Danco Packaging Products, LLC has only been in existence since January 1st 2020 but the original company, JC Danczak, Inc., was established in 2000. In those first 20 years we moved 4 times, last time being in 2017 after a fire that left us reeling. Since then we have been here in historic Holyoke, MA sharing warehouse and office space with New England Ultimate Finishing, whose owner, Dale DaRosa is a great personal friend of ours. Unfortunately NEUF is growing and Dale needs the space so we have to go.

At first this news hit me like a ton of bricks because of the unknown but now that we have the new location I can see that this is a good thing, a great thing even. I can see this push out the door like a momma bird pushing her babies out of the nest. We are spreading our wings, here at Danco, and we’re ready to fly.

What does this mean for you, our customers?

We value each and every one of our customers and look forward to continuing to do business with you. We will do our very best to not interrupt the processes and shipment of orders but there might be some delays of some products as the inventory is being moved from one location to the next. We will communicate said delays if they affect your order.

Schedule/Timeline

Our Holyoke Office will remain open until January 31st, 2022 but phones might be down for a period of time during the end of the month and beginning of the next. We will try our best to minimize any downtime. During this time email will be the best form of communication.

The new offices in West Springfield, MA should be up and running on February 1st and fully operation by the end of that week.

Holiday Closing Information

NOTICE: Temporary Warehouse Closure

UPDATE 04/19/21: Once again our Massachusetts warehouse will be closed from Tuesday April 20th through Thursday April 22nd for the same reasons listed below (inventory management/clean and sanitize). This will also affect shipment of the same products listed below. Any and all products, from this warehouse (Massachusetts), ordered after 2PM EST April 19th will not ship until Friday April 23rd. Products not listed will not be affected by this closure. Phone orders and support will also be down during this time. Please email us for any orders or support.


UPDATE 11/18/20: The Massachusetts warehouse will again be closed on Thursday November 19th and Friday November 20th for the same reasons listed below. This will also affect shipment of the same products listed below. Any and all products, from this warehouse, ordered during the next 4 days will ship on Monday November 23rd. Notice to all our wonderful customers, our Massachusetts warehouse, located in beautiful Holyoke (The Paper City), will be closed from Tuesday August 11th until Thursday August 13th for inventory management purposes. Danco Packaging Products Response & Updates on COVID-19

Danco COVID-19 Shipping Update ~ 4/24/20 

The majority of our warehouse locations are open and continuing to fulfill orders as normal. However, some orders are experiencing longer than normal delays in shipping. Most orders are shipping within 1 business day but some orders are taking up to 3 business days to ship. Our team is working as quickly as possible to ship all orders.

ClearBags COVID-19 Update ~ 3/25/20

Dear Valued Customers,
Our hearts go out to all of those who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. The safety and health of our community, including our loyal customers and employees is of utmost importance to us.

We know that our customers rely on our operations and products to keep their businesses thriving. All of our distribution centers are open at this time to provide you with the products and customer service that you have come to rely on.

We have created a comprehensive plan to protect all of our employees. We are making sure to follow all recommended guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in their Interim Guidance for Business and Employers. We are emphasizing employees staying home if sick, using respiratory etiquette, and appropriate hand hygiene. Where employees are able to work remotely, we are having them do so.

Our local customers will not be able to pick up orders directly from our offices, but we will continue to ship all orders received. We Are Now One!

As mentioned in our last post JC Danczak and Danco Packaging Products were to merge as of Monday June 17th. This merge is now complete.

Accounts, passwords and all your information should be working as per usual. All products and categories are the same and have actually grown and will continue to as we add more and more eco conscious products.

JC Danczak and Danco Packaging Products are Becoming One!

Dear Customers,

I am pleased to announce that JC Danczak (JCD) and Danco Packaging Products (Danco) will officially be operating as one as of June 17th, 2019. Over the past years, many of you have asked if JCD and Danco are one in the same, and they are. We initially launched Danco as a sister site that complemented JC Danczak with a more Eco-friendly line of products. As a leader in product packaging, we tried to provide our customer with more Eco-conscious products and over the years that demand has only increased. With this merge we pledge:

To increase our efforts to help our planet
We plan to provide even more products made completely or predominantly out of recycled materials. We also plan to increase products made using renewable energy when a recycled material is just not an option. In addition to our in office recycling program, we are cutting paper use by up to 90% as we move to an almost completely digital office workflow.

To merge the best of both websites
JC Danczak offers a mobile site, Danco does not. Danco offers an exclusive line of Eco-conscious products, JC Danczak does not. JCD offers a more accurate shipping estimator, Danco comes close but no cigar. We are merging these and many other aspects of each site to make it the best experience we have ever offered.

End the confusion once and for all
Over the years running both website has been a bit confusing at times. We fielded many a phone call with the wrong name and hearing confused customers on the other end is never a good look. We will now only be Danco and we will be the better for it and our customers will benefit from it all the more. As of Monday June 17th all jcdanczak.com traffic will be rerouted to dancopackagingproducts.com

As we work to deliver the value of the combined websites, we are equally as focused on making sure it is a smooth transition. We have worked closely with our developers to make sure any links going to a product on JCD redirects correctly to the same product on Danco. For those wondering Product numbers/SKUs on JCD will still work on Danco. In the event that you have any issues we ask that you contact us via email or call and we will do our best to get you to the correct product and also fix said link.

For JC Danczak/Danco, it will always be about the customer. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to increasing the quality of support you have come to expect from JC Danczak and Danco Packaging Products, without interruption. All support procedures continue to be the same for JCD and Danco, they remain unchanged, so please continue to use the same channels you’ve been using.
